SHEFFIELD are offering free admission to all supporters for their season opener against Somerset.
The Tigers will host last year's Premier League Champions in a special challenge at Owlerton on Thursday, March 30 with the special promotion announced at a pre-season talk-in.
Club chief Damien Bates said: "We as a management team have been trying to come up with different ways of spreading the word about Speedway in Sheffield.
“We want to try and bring back fans, both old and new and try and get them hooked again.
"We'll be following this up with special discount vouchers for future meetings as we try to raise the profile of the sport.
“This is our way of giving something back to the fans for their support over the past three years and hopefully we can tempt new people through the gates to increase crowd levels even further.”
